Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EE)

The Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (E&E) course offers a unique mix of electrical, electronics and computer related courses enabling the students to take-up a professional career / higher studies in any of these areas. Broad range of topics covered includes Electrical Circuits, Electrical Machines, Control Systems, Measurements & Instrumentation, Power Generation, Distribution & Transmission, Analog & Digital System Design, Power Electronics, Microprocessors, Computer Architecture, Data Structures, Digital Signal Processing, Communication Systems, Renewable Energy Systems and Illumination Technology etc. The curriculum based on a credit scheme is updated periodically to reflect changes in the Electrical Engineering profession in consultation with experts from industries and other renowned academic institutions.

Diploma in Civil Engineering (CE)

The Department of Civil Engineering has vast faculty members along with laboratory personnel. The department has eleven well-equipped laboratories meeting the requirements of diploma courses in Civil Engineering. The curriculum of Diploma in Civil Engineering is developed in such a way that the students are given expose to the different areas of Civil Engineering like Structural Engineering, Environmental Engg., Geotechnical Engg., Water Resources Engg., and Transportation Engg. etc. so that the students can develop and diversify themselves in their respective area of interest.

The various laboratories of the department are surveying lab, strength of materials lab, civil engineering lab, structures lab, auto-cad computer lab and soil mechanics lab. The laboratory equipments are used for testing of various materials such as cement, concrete, aggregates, sand, timber, soil, steel, paper, plastics, wires, bricks, flat tiles. Other laboratory facilities include equipments for strain measurement, beam testing, model testing and testing of small structures, in-situ testing of concrete strength and soil bearing capacity and pre-tensioning equipment. Facilities for conducting extensive surveys with the aid of electronic total station are also available. In addition to teaching, the department is also engaged in consultancy, helping industry for product development and students for their industrial exposure.

Diploma in Computer Science Engineering (CSE)

The Department of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from the beginning has commendable work for the development of student. Over the years the department has developed to become a centre of excellence providing in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for innovation with well equipped computer facilities and dedicated faculty.

Computers have become a ubiquitous part of modern life, and new applications are introduced every day. The use of computer technologies is also commonplace in all types of organizations, in academia, research, industry, government, private and business organizations. As computers become even more pervasive, the potential for computer-related careers will continue to grow and the career paths in computer-related fields will become more diverse.

The career opportunities for computer science graduates can be classified into seven categories: programming and software development, information systems operation and management, telecommunications and networking, computer science research, web and Internet, graphics and multimedia, training and support, and computer industry specialists. Some careers require additional formal training or study, and experience working in the field

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

The department ECE has done remarkably to train students using state of the art technology. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The department has the most advanced laboratory facilities available.

We arranged industrial visit and Student exchange the programme with various company/institutions students have got the benefit from this programme.

India is amongst the fastest growing telecom markets, which has been adding over nine million new subscribers each month in the immediate past. This creates a strong opportunity space for electronics and telecommunication engineers. Graduates also have bright placement opportunities even in the IT industry, both in the software and hardware space.

India is emerging as a world class VLSI/Embedded systems hub. Electronics and Communication engineers of a high caliber can find jobs with entry level packages of Rs. 3.5 – Rs. 4.0 lakhs per annum ( with added specialization with large number of Multinational Corporations operating in India.

A large number of electronics and communication engineers can get jobs in government organizations like MTNL, BSNL, Civil Aviation, NPL, AIR, Posts and Telegraph Department, Railways, Bharat Electronics Limited and DRDO, among many others.

Opportunities are multifold for Electronics and Communication engineers. They are only limited by one’s aptitude, training, and determination. Beginning with a minimum of Rs. 2.4 lakhs to Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum at the entry level, bright students are able to secure even higher packages with specialized training in specialized areas like Mobile computing and VLSI Design.

Diploma in Mechanical engineering (ME)

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, since from the established Institution has shown remarkable growth to develop the students carriers. The departmental faculty consists of erudite teachers who are constantly engaged in to making the future of student .Many of the members of the faculty have earned to their credit quite a number of praiseworthy research and design and drawing project in government organization. The department organizes seminars and workshops on varied topics every year. The department has very good Industry-Institute interaction and has conducted several short courses for working professionals from industry. The department provides ample laboratory facilities and hands-on training to the students both in the conventional subject. The department arranged industrial tour for industrial exposure. The department has sprawling workshop situated on a wide area comprising of machine shop, foundry, smithy, sheet metal, plumbing, welding, fitting and carpentry sections. The department has good industry institute interaction and has conducted several short courses to cater to the needs of the industry personnel.
