Polytechnic has established an active Training & Placement Cell which shall identify the industry need and demands from time to time, and prepare its students accordingly.
To provide multiple opportunities to our students, graduate and post-graduate, in reputed companies/organizations.
Our guiding philosophy is to ensure that students are made employable and get placed from campus. Maximisation of package and other personalised issues are a matter for the individual student. As they are speculative in nature, the associated risks are that of the student.
The Training & Placement Cell shall endeavour to organize industrial visits for the students. All these activities tremendously enhance the professional ability of the students and enable them to acquire jobs with the best employers in the professional world. The students gain term exposure and a practical knowledge through their activities.
Periodic guest lectures will be organized as a part of the academic activities to acquaint the student with the modern and relevant concepts of corporate sector.
Total Personality Development
Special grooming sessions are to be conducted wherein communication skills, presentation skills, physical grooming and corporate dressing issues of students are addressed apart from guest lectures. The Training & Placement Cell shall conduct a lot of in-house mock interviews that helps in identifying the students’ weak areas. Mock interviews give a clear cut direction to the faculty as to which aspects of a student requires special attention.
The process consists of mailing the Placement Brochure/Resumes, containing brief bio–data of the students with their photographs and branch details, to leading organizations. Prospective employers send their relevant job details such as job description and responsibility, desired qualifications/experience place of appointment, compensation package etc. Organizations schedule their recruitment in coordination with the Training & Placement Cell. The Cell renders all possible services to the organizations for smooth conduct of the selections and recruitments activities i.e. pre placement talks, written tests, group discussions and interviews.
